The Random Text Says: "" Five Hours Later... November 3rd, 2002 - 1:05 p.m. I'm Currently Avoiding: Still Avoiding 334 pages of 100 Years of SolitudeSo yeah. I said I was going to go to bed and then what do I do? Four hours or so later, I'm still awake. I spent quite a bit of time screwing around with the older entries page and went and switched the designs for the older and entires pages. Why, I don't know. I guess because I could. I don't know, it just seemed like it wanted to go back there and be switched. Maybe it had everything to do with the the fact that I was already playing with things and I felt like the dragons needed to work and be displayed. I was going to fix a drop-down menu for both pages (the one on the older page doesn't work at the moment and it's been there, defunct, forever), but I didn't feel like rummaging through a bunch of different places to find out how you make one. So now I'm sitting here with nothing really to do since I'm still avoiding doing work for class. I've been sitting here contemplating venturing out into the sunlight (blech) and doing some errands. I need to pick up some quarters so I can do laundry eventually, see what CVS has for left-over Halloween candy so I can indulge my chocolate addiction and my inner child, and I need to go to the grocery store and pick up a few groceries, most notably some fresh parmesan cheese so I can make tortellini for supper. I watched part of the Rocky Horror Picture Show yesterday before I went to sleep. I heard the Time Warp (my favorite song of the movie), and Sweet Transvestite (which Chad seems to be kind of obsessed with lately) and maybe a few others. I really like that movie. It's great. Barry Bostwick has not aged well though. And I hadn't realized that Tim Curry played the minister who performed the wedding ceremony at the beginning as well as Dr. Frankenfurter. I think they deliberately kind of hid it so that you wouldn't connect the two. Or maybe they were just out of extras. Given the movie and I'm guessing the size of it's budget, that wouldn't surprise me one bit. I was unhappy when I looked at the clock after falling asleep on Saturday afternoon and discovered that I'd missed seeing Inuyasha and had essentially slept for something approaching 10 hours. That vexed me. Not having slept for 10 hours, I like sleep. The part where I missed my regular show. That vexed me. Especially since it's only on one specific time a week and is never repeated. People who read an entry or two ago should remember what happened with that Afghani restuarant debacle. So, Friday night it must have been, a friend called and I mentioned that I'd meant to go but had fallen asleep and long story short, I'm now scheduled to have dinner with said friend Wednesday evening at that restaurant. Hopefully it'll be good. At the very least, it'll be adventurous. And I'll wear my new boots. So yeah. I'm going to go away now and maybe I'll actually get some sleep in this time. Here's to hoping that it doesn't go like the last time I went to sleep and that if/when I go to bed, I wake up in time for Angel. Feeling lucky? Choose an Entry At RANDOM! Yes. Random.
