The Random Text Says: "" $21 August 10th, 2002 - 1:18 a.m. I'm Currently Avoiding:Erm. I was going to update and be all happy and stuff but I think I'll just do it later. I'm so lazy. I will tell you about the really happy bit though. Well, other than the fact that I'm getting on a plane in less than 36 hours and taking a trip that'll leave me offline for about 3 or 4 days. And then I'll only be online for about the same amount of time before I drive off to Canada, eh for a week with my family (oh, won't that be fun?). At least it's something different that I've not seen before. Canada should be interesting. If anybody has any tips for international (I know, it's only Canada, but it's still another country, I promise) travel and would like to share them, please do. So today was pretty much the last day for my job from hell. Which makes me really happy. I had to pack up most of the more interesting and useful things like the tv, my pots & pans, etc. tonight so I'm entertainmentless and I can't eat here for the next day and a half. All I have left to do is pack up the rest of this one box that's getting shipped home, do a load of laundry, finish packing my suitcases, and pack up my computer at the very last instant. Then I'm off to home, home on the range (well, sort of) where I'll be staying with a friend for a few days. After that, it's home for a few days and then off to Canada, eh for a week. Then, home for roughly another week and after that it's back here (although not this specific room, a different one) for classes. Blech. What a short break. I suppose soon enough I'm going to have to get used to having short vacations. Real life...who needs it? So. Today. Yes. After I got done with work, I was feeling pretty happy, so I went and I bought the Crazy 8's scratch card from this...kiosk? thing on the sidewalk. So I splurged because I felt happy and lucky and stuff and I spent $5 on it (for one). I slowly scratched it off and on the 7th game (out of 8), I won the instant $18. So I took my card back to the guy and he gave me $13 plus another card. I scratched that one off, and I won the $18 one again! So I did the same thing for a second time and got my $13 plus a card. I scratched that one off but I didn't win anything so I called it a day. Even given what I spent on the three cards total ($15), I still made $21. Whee. Making money by sheer chance is always nice, especially since I almost never play those things. Anyway, those are the big things I guess and I don't really feel like writing any more so You'll just have to live in suspense until I come back. Oh, wait a minute. I have another jewelry question. The Ring or The Pendant? Or Both? Hurry up and make up your minds for me, would you? It's a sale... Feeling lucky? Choose an Entry At RANDOM! Yes. Random.
