A New Roommate...Again

January 25th, 2003 - 12:02 p.m.

I'm Currently Avoiding: You Don't Even Want To Know

I am awake. This is due to the fact that I was tired last night at about 9:30. That means that I woke up briefly at about 5:30 this morning and then I went back to sleep so that I could wake up three hours later.

And now it's nearly 3 pm, which means I wrote a whopping paragraph (a whole THREE sentences, whoo hoo), in 3 hours. How sad. That's only a sentence an hour. I just typed more than that in a minute.

And it's going to take longer because I'm going to try to call Peggy again. She's been working a lot lately, I'm almost worried about her. She should be awake now though since she has to work at 4 I think. Maybe it's 11? No, I don't know. Well, I'll give her a call and see.

News from the world of me: I have a new roommate. That's right, yet another one. This one was tired of living on the 17th floor of the high rises, so she requested a change of rooms and ended up with me. This time, I have someone from South America. Why not? I hadn't gotten anyone from that portion of the world previously. This time, she's a sophomore in the Engineering school (completing most major schools within the university...I should start a collection or something). She's from Uruguay. She seems like a busy person (most international students are...they have like, international cliques or something, it's strange. But the South American ones are really friendly and close. There's this whole...I don't know, I can't explain it). An especially busy person. She only moved in yesterday, but she's already had the door three times and the phone once. And perhaps the worst thing...she's a morning person. Oh well, we'll see how it goes eventually. I'm going to go flip out or something. My head hurts.
