The Random Text Says: "" Domestic Tasks Exhaust Me. April 11th, 2002 - 1:26 a.m. I'm Currently Avoiding:Well. It's been 24 hours according to the clock, and I want to procrastinate, so...updating! Hmm. I don't know, do I want to sleep this evening? I mean, it's already almost 3:15 in the morning. I was actually semi-productive today. I've done all my laundry, done the dishes (damn exercise in futility...I've already got more dishes to do), and done the reading for one of my classes. I've still got another 58 pages of a novel to read (on page 116 out of a required 174), and, in theory, 57 pages of French to read. I really don't want to do that however. Fifty-seven pages of French takes a very long time to read. Even when the font is fairly big. Oh, and I should take a shower or bath this evening yet as well. I'm tired. So tired that Liquid Leather with it's accompaning free thing of Instant Fabric looks like a good idea. Infomercials are evil things. You know what? I've had this window open for so long that I don't even remember what I was bitching about anymore. I'm just tired now so it's time to go to bed. Well, or go read or something. Argh. I don't know...domestic chores exhaust me so. exhilarate (v. ig-ZIH-luh-rayt) 1 a : to make cheerful b : enliven, excite 2 : refresh, stimulate Many people find exhilarate a difficult word to spell. It's easy to forget that silent h in there, and is it an er or ar after the l? It may be easier to remember the spelling if you know that exhilarate is ultimately derived from the Latin adjective hilarus, meaning cheerful. (This also explains why the earliest meaning of exhilarate is to make cheerful.) Exhilarate comes from exhilaratus, the past participle of exhilarare, which is formed by combining ex- and hilarare, a verb that derives from hilarus and means to cheer, gladden. If hilarus looks familiar, that may be because it is also the source of our hilarious and hilarity (as well as hilariously and hilariousness, of course). They're definately not exhilarating. Chores really suck. So does classwork. So does writing papers. I'll have to do that soon. I need to give some thought to the paper that's due Tuesday and the one that's due Friday next, oh, and probably the one that's due the 23rd of April since I'm not entirely certain what I even want to cover for that one. It really gets annoying when paper topics are so frigging broad. And I'm whining, aren't I? I took some pictures not too long ago, I should put those up. Enh. I'll do it much, much later because I've done enough today thank you very much. Mmm...sleep. Argh. Tired, tired, tired. Obviously my brain isn't functioning anymore...no point in me writing anything then, is there? Especially if all you're going to get out of me is nonsense. Oh wait, isn't that what you normally get? Greg the Bunny is Funny. Oh dear god, I've lapsed into rhyme. It is definately time to go now. Feeling lucky? Choose an Entry At RANDOM! Yes. Random.
