The Random Text Says: "" Insomniacs Aren't The Only Ones Awake... January 10th, 2002 - 2:04 a.m. I'm Currently Avoiding:Oh look. It's yet another bloody entry, and it hasn't even been 12 hours yet, let alone a day. Big frigging deal. I'm not feeling very friendly at the moment and I probably shouldn't be writing this, but oh well. It's not like it's going to matter to much. This is *my* diary after all and if I'd like to be cruel and negative because of various things than I shall. I watched portions of Hedwig & the Angry Inch tonight. I can't say I really understood it. I liked the song that was running throughout the movie though. After that I saw some movie that was on HBO. There's this free period going on for HBO at the moment so I can see it. I have no idea what it's called, but it was very sad and fairly depressing so I have to go away now. sotto voce sah-toh-VOH-chee (adverb or adjective) 1 : under the breath : in an undertone; also : in a private manner 2 : very softly -- used as a direction in music Sotto voce, which was borrowed into English from the Italian term sottovoce (literally meaning under the voice), can also serve as an adjective. That's the role it plays in the following sentence: "Nora told Casey about the party in a sotto voce whisper."
Oh wait...I lied. I am going to go away, just not *right* now. In a few minutes after I comment on something. When I was in the midst of not watching Hedwig & the Angry Inch b/c I was on some other channel, I was on Comedy Central for awhile. Well, I wasn't on Comedy Central, but the tv was. Anyway, there was a...preview lets say, for lack of a better descriptor. A preview for Insomniacs with Dave Atell. Anyway, this is, obviously supposed to be a show for insomniacs. People who are awake late at night because they can't sleep. I have absolutely no problem with that concept. In fact, if I watched more tv, I'd watch that show because frankly there's never anything decent to watch once you get to the wee hours of the morning when most people aren't awake. The problem with this show is it's time slot. You know what time it's being aired? 10:30 pm. That's right. 10:30 pm. I know people who stay up later than that who aren't insomniacs and who have to get up early in the morning. 10:30 is right after the news. Letterman might not even be on yet by that time. 10:30 isn't anywhere near late at night anymore. What's wrong with these people? If they were going to put a show like that on, they should show it at 2 am or something, not 10:30! Anyway, that's my mini-rant for the evening. Ciao. Feeling lucky? Choose an Entry At RANDOM! Yes.
